What to Expect When You are Expecting

Okay, so let's just say that I have experienced most of the things that you read about in all of the pregnancy books. Some of it, I can't even begin to explain how much I wish it would go away. My husband says that I have a "condition". Um, okay-last I checked being knocked up isn't a "condition". So, anyhow...I have decided that since I do have a "condition", it's pretty cool that I shouldn't clean the bath tub due to chemicals. It's even cooler that I have not had to plow an inch of snow! I kind of like it. It's also rumored that when I get even plumper than I already am (oh and just my belly is plump, LOL), Jimmy said that he will be helping with dinner and such. Not a bad deal! HEY, he has already started to help clean up after dinner. Now, let's just get one thing straight, Jimmy is a very tidy person, so tidy in fact it makes me sick. But, he has his "things to do" and I have mine. Is it so bad that I enjoy some of my things are becoming some of his things? I promise I'll go back to normal when I no longer have a "condition".

So something really cool happened yesterday. Jim and I went to the doctor and we have this little diva/tomboy on the way now. If that's not bad ass, I don't know what is. Jimmy is already looking for a go cart that he can fix up for her, because some day she will in fact be a NASCAR driver. Don't get me wrong, we are not going to "make" our little princess into something that she doesn't want to be, but she has a momma and daddy that really likes to spend time out in the woods looking for snakes and turtles and we like to shoot deer and skeet. All I can say, that even though she may still want to be in dance or gymnastics, I can assure you that she will want to be just like her daddy, just like I did and still do.

This is going to be one hell of a ride and no one is ever ready, no matter how much they plan or even say that they are ready. So, "Bring in 'da Noise, Bring in" 'da baby!

You have already stolen my heart and I can't wait until you want to be like your daddy!
